Park Avenue in Central Park

The site was located in Central Park Ellerslie, an area already developed and operational which meant access into the site was tight and congested and there were very limited lay down areas. This required a well thought out traffic management plan, project program and procurement.

The project commenced while there was still restricted supply and rising prices of products because of the supply chain affects from the COVID pandemic. A procurement strategy was developed by RCC’s Quantity Surveyor which included early purchase and offsite storage to ensure the project was delivered on time and within budget.

Park Avenue was an 18-month build program that we finished inside 15 months. RCC’s onsite team used their combined experience to accelerate key aspects of the build. They achieved this through active project management, detailed approach to resource planning and coordinating tasks to increase productivity in all work areas.
