ECLY

RCC partnered with several specialists for ECLY's unique refrigeration/build requirements, resulting in a cost effective and high quality outcome.

The ECLY project was based on partnering with several different teams in order to design and build a food manufacturing facility with offices and canopy. Included in the build was a sizeable refrigeration space with accompanying high standard hygiene requirements that needed specialist support.

RCC worked with these other consultant teams in order to get various cost estimates, material selections, design options available to the client to ensure they had access the best scope available. Trades were competitively tendered and the final price was agreed on an open book basis. This transparency in our approach was valued by our client secured a very cost effective outcome for them.

RCC Commercial was part of the design team providing construction and cost inputs to the design phase then they constructed the building on budget, on time, and to a very high standard.

RCC were always cooperative and solutions focused throughout the construction. Their staff at all levels were experienced, dedicated, friendly, and showed a great attitude and empathy to us as the client, and above all were professional and trustworthy.

Alterations required during the design phase were well documented and fairly evaluated, and then incorporated into the build programme without impacting on the completion date.

This building is an example of architectural aesthetics being incorporated without undue impact on the construction cost mainly because of early input of the contractor at design phase and a cooperative and open cost evaluation process.
